Our History

Inaugurated in 2022 by philanthropist and entrepreneur Jonah Engler, this trust has committed itself to annually recognize outstanding neurodivergent students who are paving the way for a more inclusive future. The trust not only offers financial assistance but also highlights the achievements of its recipients, showcasing the profound impact of their work and advocacy.

Past Recipients

In its inaugural year, the award was bestowed upon Micaela Lacroix from the University of South Florida on May 1st, 2022. Her dedication to neurodiversity advocacy and her outstanding academic performance set a high standard for what the Jonah Engler Trust seeks in a scholar.

Continuing this tradition of excellence, William Norton of Princeton University was honored on February 15, 2023. His innovative research and commitment to creating inclusive technologies exemplify the spirit and intention behind the Jonah Engler Neurodivergent Inclusion Award.
